byebye 2007 & hello miss 08

We are almost half way through the first month of 2008 & it’s only till now that I've manage to seat myself down to this. I always thought I would be able to write a blog or two when I was away but guess there were just too many things to o that we in manage to o this.2007's been a great year & I must say I'm quite happy with the "results sheet" when I look at the genSolutions 2007 that I wrote last year:

..."GENsolutions 2007GREAT YEAR ought to have a GREAT starthere are a few things i really wanna do... and of course let’s start with the fun bit first

1. See snow... and snowboard "yes... it took place in Korea & it was such an awesome feel"
2. White Water Rafting " err... not yet"
3. Join a marathon relay... I wanna do the swimming bit "er... will happen soon... safety first"
4. Be more ppl oriented cos I’m really too WORK oriented all the time "YES, I’m happy to say that finally I manage to look at my workplace with another light & not view it as a battleground & be so task oriented... in 008 I will continue to do my best & strike a balance"
5. treasure my friends and family more "yes... I did it & I’m a happier gen... I’m also happy tat aft neglecting my sec sch frens for so many yrs bcos of work; I’m finally the one to keep the momentum going & organizing outings.
6. Be more selfless towards those that matters and yes.... " I think I did ok in this aspect too"
7. I WANNA BE THE gengen I used to be.... happy... cheery... crazy.... " with alien in my life... I’m sure"
8. Other point-> me did a revamp to my room finally after 25 yrs
   

6/8 well... I'm very happy with this & I want to thank you for being part of my 07 & making 07 such a great yr for me.

Besides the list above... I'm truly thankful to GOD for a few other significant happenings in my life this year...
1) For a great manager... she showed me what a manager should be and thou we aren't close on a personal level. I respect her & how she manages and lead the team. :)

2) For bringing my relationship with the varmans to another level... God I thank u for they are such an important part of my life & I’ve learned so much from each & every one of them & the love the children shown have been truly irreplaceable.

3) For giving me & Lau a chance to love each other cos truly we've came a long way b4 we finally decide to give each other this chance tat brought so much joy to our lives.
